Ben Dunn is a comic illustrator, writer, and publisher. In 1985, he founded the comic book publishing company Antarctic Press to promote the manga art form. This is where he would create his two best-known comics, NINJA HIGH SCHOOL and WARRIOR NUN AREALA, the latter of which has been adapted into the Netflix series WARRIOR NUN. In the late 1990s, he handed over the company to his brother, Joeming Dunn. Over the years, he has worked for various comic publishers over the years including Malibu Comics, Eternity Comics, Eclipse Comics, First Comics, NOW Comics, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics. Outside of comics, he has also worked as a storyboard artist on TV shows like The REAL GHOSTBUSTERS and EXO-SQUAD, as well as being one of the animators for Warner Brothers film adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s A SCANNER DARKLY. Currently, he continues to work on NINJA HIGH SCHOOL while also serving as the editor of Exciting Comics, Planet Comics and Jungle Comics.
