The Punctuators: Super-Powered Punctuation

Ty Rickers is a computer programmer who has also dabbled as a Chemist and Stand-up Comedian. He loves puzzles and wordplay and is currently trying to learn every language offered on Duolingo.

His middle-grade graphic novel the Punctuators uses fun, comedic storytelling with relatable superhero characters to get readers excited about punctuation and grammar. In their world, some are gifted with the ability to see and manipulate dialogue and narrative in different ways. For example, Excla Machine is a robot who has the ability to become larger or louder by increasing his "volume".
